Keeping in line with the city’s movement to make Austin bike-friendly, AIA Austin has created
a special Bike Program for this year’s tour. Each house will have bike racks and water stations
so families can easily enjoy the tour on two wheels. A separate Tour Map including bike routes
will be available. Austin City Council member Chris Riley will kick off the Homes Tour at the
Austin Center for Architecture with a few words about biking in Austin, and will lead a group
of bikers to the first stop on the tour.

Tickets to the AIA Homes Tour go on sale September 1, 2011 and may be purchased at Zinger
Hardware (Central Market location), Five Elements Furniture, or directly from AIA Austin.
