Elsewhere, TX Exhibit & Talk with Fernando L. Brave, AIA Join us for the opening reception for Elsewhere, Texas, an exhibition featuring architectural projects throughout Texas and beyond, some of which may have been overlooked by publications or design awards. The curator of the exhibit, Fernando Brave, AIA will be here to discuss the ideas behind the project, research, the selection process, and the projects themselves. Fernando L. Brave, AIA graduated from the University of Houston with a Master of Architecture in 1988. Before moving to Houston in 1987, he completed a six-year undergraduate architecture program at the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he later taught design studio and architectural history. He continues his professional development through various post- graduate level courses and seminars. His professional experience includes the completion of projects for individuals, private companies and numerous institutions. He has also been a key player in large master planning and development projects both in the United States and abroad. Mr. Brave is the founder of BRAVE / ARCHITECTURE, a full service, award winning architecture and design firm in Houston. closes February 24, 2010 |
