| What: An impressive collection of paintings and works by iconic pop artist and living legend Peter Max will be available for acquisition at Russell Collection Fine Art Gallery’s Peter Max Exhibit March 16-25, 2012. Two special “Meet the Artist” receptions will take place Saturday, March 24 from 6-9 and Sunday, March 25 from noon-3 p.m. This exhibition will be an opportunity for the artist’s followers and music aficionados to view and purchase Max’s newest portraitures of music legend Mick Jagger and Billboard magazine’s 2011 Woman of the Year, Taylor Swift, commemorating her newest album “Speak Now”. Also on exhibit and available for purchase will be a guitar, a pair of animal friendly (man made fiber) cowboy boots, a Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys football helmet as well as a variety of iconic original Peter Max artwork. When: Personal appearance and reception with Peter Max from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25 from noon - 3 p.m. Exhibit runs March 16-25, 2012. All events are free and open to the public. |
